Please save the date for the upcoming AGM on Saturday, April 17, 2010.
What is significant about this AGM is that there will be a change in LEADERSHIP of the UMAS. We are calling for people who wish to STEP UP to serve the Michigan Community in Singapore to come forward. We in Michigan believe in ACTIVE participation to lift up the community. This will also be a great opportunity for you to meet 6 students from the Ross School of Business who are currently in Singapore for their MAP project.

A Computer Engineering graduate from Georgia Tech, he worked for 2 years as a Solutions Consultant at Cerner Corporation, a healthcare IT firm. He then joined Lehman Brothers where he managed technology development within the Equity Analytics organization. After witnessing the downfall of Lehman while simultaneously celebrating his birthday, he spent his next few months at Barclays Capital writing stellar essays that helped him get into Ross. View Resume Filiz Genca hails from country-music lovers capital Nashville, TN where she graduated from Vanderbilt University with a Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering and IT Systems Management. Prior to Ross, she worked in 'Intelligence' and Nuclear Technology before making the switch to consulting for Deloitte. At Ross and part of the Tauber Global Institute for Operations, Filiz is an operations and logistics geek but also finds time for leadership roles in clubs, cheering at football games, and traveling around the world. John Leu is pursuing a business development career in social media and loves all things outdoors from hiking Yosemite to skiing in the Rocky Mountains. Before Ross, he worked in consulting for Deloitte and marketing for Google. He was born in New York and has lived in New Jersey (no accent or Bon Jovi obsessions), Boston, and San Francisco. John loves to travel the world and has been to Peru, South Africa, Jordan, France, UK, Taiwan, Vietnam, and Cambodia in the past few years. View Resume
Michelle Miller was a Community and Organizational Development Peace Corps Volunteer in Moldova working with women's rights and health education before attending Ross. She is currently focusing on marketing and corporate social responsibility and is really enjoying her first time in Southeast Asia. Go Blue! View Resume
Brian Robinson was born and raised in the small town of Jackson, TN. He attended the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and received a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical Engineering. Prior to coming to Ross, he worked in various manufacturing, operations and engineering roles with Kimberly Clark, Cummins, Inc. and General Electric. He is currently concentrating in consulting and entrepreneurship. View Resume
David Wolkowitz grew up outside of New York City in the lovely state of New Jersey. Prior to business school, he worked in Manhattan's commercial real estate industry in both corporate advisory and investment roles. At Ross, he is concentrating in finance and will intern at an investment bank this summer. View Resume
